How long have you been in your industry?17yrs
Why did you choose your industry?At first DJing sounded like an easy way to make extra cash while I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. While attending events I'd notice the services being booked and I started to expand the services I offered over time.
Who are your typical clients?Our previous clients range from Daycare Centers and club owners to companies like Taveres Surgery Center and MetroPCS. We provide services for a wide variety of event types annually.
What do you like best about being in this industry?The best thing about being in entertainment is that the destination is a celebration so it's always a party.
What are common problems you see?The biggest problem is finding works willing to promote your business and not steal your customers. To often you send a DJ to an event and they promote themselves to get the next event instead of referring the customer back to the company for retention.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Reviews are your friend when looking for service providers in the entertainment space. They tell you all you need to know about what to expect at your event.
When is your busy season?Peak seasons for parties are always around holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas
