Earlier this year, FCCC also received a proclamation from Jacksonville Mayor, Donna Deegan, for being a vital force in bringing the arts to life for three decades in the First Coast region, enriching the community through classes for all ages, events, and exhibitions from local, regional, and national artists. Furthermore, FCCC was commended for offering free Sound Connections® Music Therapy to children with disabilities and Kick START Afterschool Art Enrichment programs in Title 1 schools.
A primary fundraiser, First Coast Cultural Center’s 34th annual Holiday Shoppes will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sunday, November 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Unique gifts and treasures from local, national, and international artisans and vendors highlight this popular event, which offers everything from handmade and high-end jewelry and travel packages to wood carvings, clothing, sweets, and glasswork.
