Counting With Kids was founded by Neily Boyd in 2019 to help parents support early math learning at home. While working as the Director of Math for six schools and parenting young children, Boyd became aware of the research showing that early math skills are a predictor of future success in math. However, while resources for parents to support early literacy seemed to be everywhere, the resources for supporting early math were few and far between. Boyd set out to change that and now provides free early math support to thousands of families around the world. In addition to free resources through the Counting With Kids Instagram page and newsletter, Counting With Kids also offers comprehensive programs that give parents step-by-step guidance to help their young children develop a strong math foundation.
