Who are your typical clients?Our clients are victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Our donors are generous individuals, businesses, and foundations that want to help us create new opportunities for our clients.
What do you like best about being in this industry?I love the work we do at Sojourner House. The impact we have is tangible. We are literally saving lives.

How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?We mostly rely on word of mouth and referrals from partner organizations.
How involved are you in the community?I also teach as an adjunct professor at Rhode Island College. I have developed a number of courses there, including a class about domestic violence.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Sojourner House ( of course!)
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Don't be afraid to be ambitious and think big! Social problems require tenacity and innovation.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I have an almost daily yoga practice. I also love spending time with my husband, 2 dogs, family and a wonderful community of friends.
