FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jacksonville, FL – Foodies Care, a Jacksonville-based nonprofit dedicated to celebrating food culture while addressing critical community needs, invites the public to Vines & Steins, an evening of fine wines, craft beers and heartfelt giving. On Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, guests will gather at Lynch’s Irish Pub in Jacksonville Beach to sip, swirl and savor with purpose—all in support of local charities fighting homelessness and hunger.
Vines & Steins pairs hand-picked wines and beers with small-plate tastings. Each tasting flight is designed to showcase distinct flavor profiles, from crisp whites and robust reds to hop-forward brews and smooth stouts.
Proceeds from ticket sales and on-site donations will benefit three outstanding nonprofit partners: Hands 4Life is a faith-based organization dedicated to addressing the global aging crisis by partnering with humanitarian groups and assisted living; 6:8 Ministries, empowering families in need with volunteer-led development projects and faith-based support; and 100 Women Who Care, a network that has mobilized hundreds of local women to pool resources and award thousands of dollars each quarter to Jacksonville nonprofits. This collaboration ensures that every dollar raised at Vines & Steins fuels lasting change.
“Merging great food and drink with charitable action is at the heart of who we are,” said Anne Ackerson, President of Foodies Care. “Vines & Steins is more than a tasting event—it’s an invitation to our community to raise a glass together and raise hope for our neighbors in need.”
Tickets for Vines & Steins are available now at www.foodiescare.org/events. Individual tickets include all tastings, light bites and a commemorative glass. Sponsorship opportunities are still open for businesses seeking high-visibility support of local causes.
