Started with film school and evolved into real knowledge during actual filmmaking experience.
How has mentorship shaped your journey to becoming an expert?
It is the main reason I am a filmmaker. Being mentored by my uncle Abbas Kiarostami shaped who I am as a filmmaker.
How do you use feedback to accelerate your growth?
We make our art for ourselves but also for the audience– listening to them / having test screenings to identify what’s working and what’s not is pivotal to creating a great finished product.
