Can you share a moment or experience that significantly deepened or shaped your faith journey?

My faith journey has been shaped through some of life’s greatest challenges. As a cancer survivor, someone who has faced multiple near-death experiences, and a person who has overcome tremendous adversity, I’ve learned that God doesn’t always remove the storm—He walks with us through it. Every setback became an opportunity to trust Him more deeply. Those experiences strengthened my belief that my life has a purpose, and that purpose is to serve others, inspire hope, and help people recognize that their past does not determine their future.

In what ways do you actively live out your faith in your daily life — at work, home, or in your community?

I strive to live my faith through service. As a licensed minister, certified coach, counselor, nonprofit founder, and community advocate, I work every day to uplift individuals and families by providing resources, encouragement, education, and hope. Whether I’m mentoring youth, supporting entrepreneurs, organizing community events, praying with someone in need, or simply listening without judgment, I believe faith is demonstrated through action. My goal is to be the hands and feet of Christ by showing compassion, extending grace, and helping others discover the purpose God has placed within them.

What encouragement or scripture has been especially meaningful to you in this season, and why?

One scripture that continues to guide me is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This verse reminds me that even when I cannot see the entire path ahead, God already has a plan. It encourages me to keep moving forward with faith, trusting that every challenge is preparing me for a greater assignment and that the work I’m doing through WBL LIFE CHOICES is part of His purpose.

What advice would you give to someone who’s struggling to live out their faith or looking to grow spiritually?

Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Faith isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence and relationship. Spend time with God daily through prayer, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with people who encourage your spiritual growth. Give yourself grace during difficult seasons because growth often happens in the valleys, not just on the mountaintops. Most importantly, remember that God qualifies those He calls. No matter what you’ve been through, your story can become someone else’s testimony, and your greatest pain can become your greatest purpose when you place it in God’s hands.
