Welcome to Living My Faith, a weekly show that celebrates the everyday believers who are walking with Jesus not just on Sundays, but in every area of their lives. From relationships and parenting to health, habits, and home, our guests share how they keep their faith at the center of it all. Hosted in Jacksonville, Florida and supported by Christ-centered partners, Living My Faith is a space where real life meets real faith. Today our host, Morgan Allen, spoke with Kim Ketola.

Short Company Description:

Giving voice to God’s love | Preventing abortion and helping those it hurts.

Can you share a moment or experience that significantly deepened or shaped your faith journey?

Serving my church in abortion recovery ministry groups, serving on teams and in leadership with Kairos Prison ministry, active grandparenting and growing our marriage.

In what ways do you actively live out your faith in your daily life — at work, home, or in your community?

For me, faith isn’t something I turn on only at church—it’s something that shapes how I live every day. I try to reflect my faith in the way I treat people, the way I speak to others, and the choices I make both at home and in my work. One meaningful way I live out my faith is through volunteering at a pregnancy crisis center. I have served there once a week for the past twelve years. That time has allowed me to walk alongside women during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I try to offer compassion, encouragement, and practical support, always remembering that every person deserves dignity, care, and hope. My faith also guides how I interact with my family. I try to model patience, kindness, and grace in my relationships, knowing that the people closest to us often see our faith most clearly through our actions. Whether I’m listening, encouraging, or simply being present, I want my family to experience the love of Christ through me. In every area of life—at work, at home, and in my community—I try to live with the understanding that faith is not just something we believe, but something we practice daily through service, integrity, and love for others.

What encouragement or scripture has been especially meaningful to you in this season, and why?

Be filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 5:18) for apart from Christ you can do nothing (John 5:15).
