What differentiates you from the competition?
50 years of starting, running, and selling 6 companies. Extensive experience in all aspects of business, from inception and concepts to start-up, maturing, plateauing, turnaround, and M&A
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?
My product is the same as what differentiates me
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?
I’ve been there; let me help you.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?
Awareness of local availability
What is your approach to helping clients identify and solve key challenges? I use talk thearpy as the basis of my coaching process. We start with expectations and goals, discuss what has and hasn’t worked in the past and design a path forward
How do you tailor your coaching or consulting style to different industries? I don’t, since I am only working with the leader’s emotional strengths and their capacity to guide the organization toward success. I have used this style with a 50-person trucking company in JAX and an 11,000-person hospital in Saudi Arabia. One took one year and one took 7 years.
What are the most common misconceptions about consulting? We have all the answers
How do you measure the success of your client engagements? I don’t; they do.
What trends are influencing the future of consulting and coaching? People who want a simple answer think bravado (BS) and AI can solve all the problems. It’s always connection, engagement and trust
What’s the most rewarding part of your work? Seeing the lights come on over the heads of the stakeholders
What skills do you think are essential for future consultants or coaches? EI, patience, willingness, and critical thinking
