What technologies are having the biggest impact on IT right now?AI-assisted analysis and automation are reshaping how security operations run. In my own work, I’ve used AI-assisted analysis across thousands of log lines to trace root causes on osquery compliance gaps, and I’ve automated CVR (Common Vulnerability Report) disposition into BOMs and JIRA-to-POA&M exports — cutting manual reporting time by 30%. Beyond AI, the convergence of networking and security (SD-WAN as a security-native platform, not just transport) is the other big shift.
