About Marc Dickerson Enterprises, LLC
Marc Dickerson Enterprises, LLC helps churches, nonprofits, and organizations strengthen leadership and create more trauma-responsive environments through practical training, consulting, speaking, and preaching. Led by Marc Dickerson, a TBRI® Practitioner and senior pastor of Amazing Life Church for 13 years, the company also convenes The Shepherd’s Table, a supportive development community for pastors and faith leaders. Marc is also CEO and Executive Director of C.R.E.I. (Community Resource Educational Initiatives), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates the annual Youth Mental Health Summer Camp and The Bridge Youth Development Afterschool Program—creating spaces where young people can build connection, develop skills, and thrive.
What differentiates you from the competition?
I am one of the only African American TBRI® practitioners in the city of Jacksonville and the state of Florida. My approach to these principles and facilitation is from a range of contexts, making the presentation relevant and flexible.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?
Consistency, lack of support, and social media account and brand management.
How is your ministry engaging with the community today? We partner with organizations such as Feeding Northeast Florida to provide food to families in the 32216 ZIP code who need assistance. We also host an after-school program for neighborhood kids, ages 8-18, provide support to whole families, and much more.
What role does technology play in spreading your message? Our website, web presence, and social media are not very active at this time.
How do you support spiritual growth among your members? As a pastor, we provide a safe and spirit-filled space for families to encounter the presence of God. We provide bible studies, small groups, discipleship, and church leadership development opportunities year-round.
What challenges are ministries facing in the modern world? Ministries are facing the challenges of fallen man, sin. We also face challenges that come with competing and comparing ourselves to other ministries, instead of being unique and content with the vision and presentation that are most authentic to who/where God has called us to be. Not to mention Christian Nationalism, apathy, a lack of compassion and empathy towards those far from Christ, and so much more.
How do you balance tradition with innovation in worship? We have been intentional about holding on to the clear teaching and preaching of the word of God, and we’ve agreed to divorce anything (traditionally) that is not serving that purpose, or aligned with our current understanding of Jesus, grace, salvation, and life. We work as hard as we can to embrace creativity and new technology, which makes us more efficient and appealing to a range of generational believers.
What initiatives are you leading to serve vulnerable populations? Local and foreign missions, raising up missionaries for the world and our own backyard. Others are the summer camp, afterschool programs, TBRI® training, and more.
