Anointed Bags Ministries, Inc
What is the core mission of your organization? Our mission is simple: Restoring dignity to the world, with God, one bag at a time. We believe every person deserves to know they are seen, valued, and loved. We meet practical needs through outreach programs while sharing hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ. Whether it’s providing backpacks, bikes, hygiene items, or empowering youth, our goal is to restore dignity and inspire lasting change.
How do you measure impact and success in your programs? We certainly measure numbers—how many children receive backpacks, bikes, school supplies, hygiene products, and how many volunteers and community partners join us. But our greatest measure of success is transformed lives. When a child leaves feeling confident, a family feels supported, or a community partner decides to invest in our mission, that’s impact that goes beyond statistics.
What are your biggest fundraising or outreach challenges? One of our biggest challenges is awareness. There are many generous people and businesses who want to make a difference, but they simply haven’t heard about Anointed Bags Ministries yet. That’s why building relationships and sharing our story is so important. Every new partnership expands our ability to serve more families.
How do you build long-term relationships with donors and supporters? We believe relationships come before transactions. We keep our supporters informed, celebrate the impact they’re making, thank them often, and invite them to see the mission firsthand. We want every donor, volunteer, and sponsor to know they aren’t just supporting a nonprofit—they’re becoming part of a family that’s changing lives together.
What trends are influencing the nonprofit world today? People are looking for transparency, measurable impact, and meaningful relationships. They want to know exactly how their contributions are making a difference. We’re also seeing incredible opportunities through corporate partnerships, social media, and community collaboration, allowing nonprofits to reach more people than ever before.
Can you share a story that shows your mission in action? One story that stays with me is watching children at our Back-to-School Success Day receive bikes they never imagined owning. You could see their confidence and joy immediately. It wasn’t just about receiving a bike—it was about feeling seen, valued, and encouraged. Moments like that remind us that restoring dignity often begins with meeting a practical need, but the impact reaches much deeper into a person’s heart and future.
What keeps you motivated in this work? What keeps me motivated is knowing that behind every backpack, every bike, every hygiene bag, and every event is a person whose life can be impacted. God called me to this work, and watching Him open doors, provide partners, and transform lives reminds me that every act of kindness matters.
