About Jacksonville Speech & Hearing CenterFounded in 1949, the Jacksonville Speech and Hearing Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides treatment for individuals with hearing and speech-language disorders. We are committed to providing the highest quality professional and compassionate care to ALL individuals with hearing, speech and/or language disorders in our Northeast Florida community, regardless of ability to pay.
What differentiates you from the competition?Our 75-year legacy, commitment to community care & ability to accept a wide range of insurances set us apart. Many providers turn patients away due to coverage; we're credentialed with a wide variety of insurances that other providers do not accept
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?Our top services include Tiny Talkers, an early intervention program for preschoolers, on-location speech therapy in classrooms starting at age 2, and comprehensive hearing aid services, including fittings, sales, and repairs.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?We’re a nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals of all ages with speech, language, and hearing needs. No matter your situation, we’ll work to find a solution. This year alone, we’re on track to serve over 6,000 patients!
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Balancing the promotion of our signature event, FinFest, with our major fundraising campaign for the North Davis Street clinic expansion—without donor fatigue. Since we’re funding this expansion debt-free, clear messaging will be key to success.
