About Mudslide FoundationSupporting communities recovering from flooding, landslides, and natural disasters. The Mudslide Foundation is a Florida nonprofit built at the intersection of music, community resilience, and disaster recovery. The Foundation provides direct relief, supports practical response technology, and builds charitable programs designed to help communities recover and prepare.
What differentiates you from the competition? We are self funding to start as a Non-Profit, using a portion of royalties and sync licensing of music to fund the foundation. We also are developing a SW platform to help pet owners in time of need.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers? We are not selling, we are building a platform to help others and to help pet owners.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Your family , friends and neighbors are here for you, and you should be here for them in time of need.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Raising Awareness of the new non-profit and getting partnerships to fund the PawsNet software

What is the core mission of your organization? Direct Relief: Support individuals, families, and communities impacted by mudslides, flooding, landslides, and related natural disasters.
Operational Programs: Fund and deploy practical disaster response concepts, beginning with PawsNet™, a peer-to-peer emergency pet evacuation network.
Awareness Campaigns: Use music, destination activations, and community campaigns to convert attention into real relief and recovery support.

How do you measure impact and success in your programs? We measure success by lives impacted

What are your biggest fundraising or outreach challenges? Awareness and finding partners to build the PawsNet platform

How do you build long-term relationships with donors and supporters? We will have twice annual events – opening and closing of Hurricane season to raise funds and awareness.
We are working with partners in the Music Industry and sponsors to make sure we can get visibility to the organization using new approaches such as our link to music.

What trends are influencing the nonprofit world today? We see too much overhead with organizations. We will need to be lean and accountable

Can you share a story that shows your mission in action? 85% of pet owners refuse evacuation without pets – creating life-threatening situations in every hurricane. Approximately 177,000 pet-owning households in your district face this crisis with zero operational solutions despite the PETS Act (Public Law 109-308) passing 20 years ago.

What keeps you motivated in this work? To help people and the welfare of their pets
