About Prodigal Farm Ministries IncWe are a 501c3 Public charity- We reflect the love of Jesus through various programs including our foster program partnerships with local shelters. Our goal is discipleship, career development, and sobriety support, all while showing the love of Jesus. We are intentional in the programs we launch to bring value not only to the ministry, but to the individuals working the program. We don't want anyone to leave our programs feeling lost and confused around their identity or purpose. We want to leave a lasting print of the different kind of ministry we bring to the table for Kingdom impact.
What differentiates you from the competition?Unlike traditional recovery programs, PFM combines faith-based discipleship, life skills coaching, and animal-assisted healing into one holistic approach — all rooted in Gospel-centered community and offered at no cost to participants.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers? Our programs treat the whole person spiritually, emotionally, and practically. The foster animal program is especially distinctive, using animal care as a vehicle for building empathy, responsibility, and healing in those recovering from addiction.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?No matter how far you've strayed, you are beloved, you are not alone, and there is a place for you here. Come home.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Raising awareness in Nassau County to reach more people who need our services and to attract consistent donors and volunteers.

What trends are shaping the health and wellness industry right now? The biggest trends we’re seeing are the shift toward whole-person care: mental, physical, and spiritual health together, rather than just physical fitness. Faith-based recovery, trauma-informed wellness, and community-centered accountability are growing. People are realizing that lasting health isn’t just about the body; it’s about healing from the inside out.

How do you approach holistic well-being with your clients or audience? We meet people where they are. Whether someone is battling addiction, rebuilding their life, or simply trying to get healthier, we address body, mind, and spirit together. That means combining movement and physical health with discipleship, life coaching, and emotional support because you can’t truly be well if only one part of you is being cared for.

What challenges do you see in helping people sustain healthy habits? The biggest challenge is consistency when life gets hard. Many of the people we work with have faced trauma, addiction, or homelessness and old patterns are powerful. That’s why community accountability matters so much. We don’t let people walk alone. Having people who check on you, pray with you, and show up for you makes the difference between giving up and pressing forward.

How do you tailor programs for different fitness or health needs? Everyone’s story is different, so every approach has to be too. Some people need to start with basic life skills and sobriety support before they can focus on physical health. Others are ready to dive into structured routines. We assess where someone is spiritually, physically, emotionally then build from there, using tools like life coaching, the S.H.A.P.E. assessment, and one-on-one mentoring.

What role does technology play in supporting wellness today? Technology helps us reach people who might never walk through a church door or a gym. Social media lets us share encouragement, resources, and real stories of transformation with people in Nassau County and beyond. It also helps us stay connected with those in our programs between meetings and events, keeping that sense of community alive even outside of in-person gatherings.

Can you share a story of transformation you've witnessed? The heart of everything we do is the prodigal story someone who was lost, found their way back, and discovered they were never beyond redemption. We’ve seen people come to us broken by addiction, without hope or direction. Due to the nature of our business, confidentiality is of upmost importance. I have witnessed the transformation in my life, my husband’s life and the lives of our other directors.

What motivates you in this industry every day? Knowing that one conversation, one meal, one moment of showing someone they matter could change the entire trajectory of their life. We believe every person is a beloved creation with purpose, and when you see someone start to believe that about themselves, there’s nothing more motivating. We’re not just changing habits; we’re helping restore lives for the Kingdom.
