If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Structor Group is committed to delivering results and exceeding expectations. We are in this for the long haul so building relationships and developing long term partnerships is our ultimate goal which we are accomplishing by building smarter.

What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Our Jacksonville office is still relatively new so our biggest challenge is continuing to grow our network and establishing more relationships throughout the Jacksonville community with Owners, Subcontractors and Developers.

What trends are currently shaping the construction industry? Growth trends in our area are driving the types and size of Construction projects in our area. With so many people moving into Jax, there is an immediate need for more schools and healthcare facilities.

What challenges are you facing with labor shortages or supply chains? Supply chains have been somewhat volatile over the last several years so this is something that is always being watched very closely in our Industry. Shortages and delays on materials can vary from week to week which can definitely impact a project.

How do you ensure safety on your job sites? We have a dedicated Senior Safety Manager that provides training and support to all of our staff which helps make sure everyone has the resources they need to implement a high safety standard on each project. We also have a Kick-Off meeting with all field personnel at the beginning of a project to go over the safety requirements for the project and to identify any potential hazards so we can plan accordingly. Our field team also does a great job enforcing our safety policies throughout the entire project.

What role does technology play in your planning and execution? Technology is a key part of maximizing efficiency in construction and streamlining processes both on the field and office sides. It’s exciting to see some of the new technologies developing with AI.

What advice would you give to someone entering the construction field? There are so many different roles and types of jobs in Construction. My advice to people starting out is to try out different roles throughout your career if given the opportunity–you may be surprised to find out what you end up enjoying.
