About The Assistance FundThe Assistance Fund, or TAF, is an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs by providing financial assistance for their copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and other health-related expenses. TAF offers nearly 100 disease-specific programs that cover all FDA-approved treatment for the disease named in the program. And some of our programs help with other out-of-pocket medical expenses, too, like health insurance premiums and travel costs. Since TAF was founded in 2009, we have helped over 210,000 children and adults access the treatment they need to manage a life-changing disease.
