About The Southall 5
The Southall 5 is my band that I use to promote my original Christian music! We recently started playing live and we hope to make lots of cool connections and friendships on this musician journey. Our main goal is to glorify God, and point people in the direction of His Son Jesus Christ with this music.
What differentiates you from the competition?
We aren’t afraid to tell people what we’re about!
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?
We provide a fun and unique live experience everywhere we play!
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?
Jesus loves you and wants an eternal relationship with you. Welcome Him into your life before it’s too late!
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?
Finding the best venues to play!
What is the biggest operational challenge that you will face in the upcoming year? Getting used to potential small touring.
How do you see the role of performing arts evolving in today’s culture? Social media has opened up the world to so much talent that wouldn’t have probably been discovered otherwise. I see the Lord already using social media to spread the gospel and I hope to see more people talking about it on social media.
What inspires your creative process? Seeing how the Lord works uniquely in my life and other people’s lives!
How do you navigate the balance between art and commercial success? You continue to release the type of art you are inspired to release not what others want you to release.
What’s been your most memorable project or performance and why? I played in Malaysia last year with a tribute band I’m currently in. It was the coolest experience I’ve had yet playing live and meeting people!
How has technology influenced live performance and entertainment? It’s made it more readily available.
What advice would you give to emerging artists? Stay true to who you are and not what you think people want you to be.
How do you stay connected with your audience? Play live and post on social media!
