The option to embrace the gift of exploring boundaries of the creative landscape.

What are common problems you see?

The biggest challenges faced by most self-published authors come in the arena of marketing and advertising, which directly impact book sales.

What advice/tips do you have for clients?

The best advice I’ve received from successful authors; “Write from your heart and those who the work is meant to touch will feel it.”

When is your busy season?

Typically during the summer months when more people have liesure time to devote to reading.

What keeps you up at night?

All the ideas for stories, character development, and actual scenes that constantly play out in my head.

How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?

Primarily via social media platforms, book signings, public appearances, and speaking engagements.

How involved are you in the community?

Mainly through spiritual associations via a number of ministers and churches.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?

Be determined because writing comes with many more challenges than perceived rewards.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Oddly enough, I write novels, philosophy, a weekly newspaper opinon column, and short stories so there’s little “free” time to do much else outside of working around the house.
