FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jacksonville, FL – The Florida Supply Chain Summit returns to Orlando, May 18–20, 2026, welcoming industry leaders, government officials and educators to Caribe Royale for three days of collaboration designed to advance Florida as a global trade hub. Hosted by Executive Director Joanne Kazmierski, the Summit kicks off Monday, May 18, at 5 p.m. and concludes Wednesday, May 20, at 4 p.m.
Now in its seventh year in Orlando, the Florida Supply Chain Summit provides a platform for statewide collaboration among key representatives from industry, professional organizations, economic development agencies and higher education. Attendees will explore emerging trends, technology innovations and workforce-development strategies that drive economic development and business growth across Florida.
Since launching in 2019, the Summit has drawn several hundred attendees to its inaugural event and convened in Tampa, Miami and Jacksonville, with a successful virtual edition in 2021. Temporarily aligned under Select Florida and Florida International University from 2023 to 2025, the Summit transitioned into an independent, for-profit entity in mid-2025 before establishing itself as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization later that year.
“We’re excited to bring together our statewide partners to strengthen Florida’s position in global trade,” said Kazmierski. “This year’s Summit will deepen collaboration across ports, logistics and transportation sectors, driving economic opportunity for communities across the state.”
Over three days, participants will engage in keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions focused on supply-chain resilience, port optimization and talent pipeline development. Highlights include a roundtable with state economic development leaders and an interactive technology showcase.
Looking ahead, the Summit will build on its legacy by moving to Fort Lauderdale in 2027, reaffirming its commitment to fostering collaboration, driving innovation and positioning Florida as a premier global trade hub.
