JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Girls of Virtue will host a Day of Service on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 245 E. Adams St., Jacksonville, FL 32202. From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., volunteers will join Girls of Virtue, Men of Vision, and partners to paint, clean, decorate, and organize the nonprofit’s first permanent home ahead of its official move-in.
This milestone marks Girls of Virtue’s transition into a dedicated facility, recently celebrated by the Jacksonville Business Journal. The new space will strengthen programming for young women and men through mentorship, life skills training, and community engagement.
Local real estate broker Coldwell Banker Anabasis Realty is sponsoring the event and will have agents volunteering alongside community members. Girls of Virtue and Men of Vision also collaborate with Foodies Care and Volintel to broaden their impact and deliver essential services year-round.
“We’re thrilled to welcome our supporters into this new chapter,” said Della Sellers, Founder of Girls of Virtue. “This Day of Service shows how much can be accomplished when businesses and neighbors come together.”
Event activities include interior painting, light construction, decorative finishing touches, and cleanup. No special skills are required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to lend a hand. Participants should wear work clothes and bring gloves or any personal tools they prefer.
