We went from a national focus to becoming hyper focused on the Jacksonville and surrounding areas as we saw the need to help our local restaurants and laundromats. This focus has been a game changer as we engage with the community daily!
Describe a Failure in your Career
There are so many failures that I call lessons. One such failure was trying to be everything to every type of business and across geographies. When you have a business you think you can serve all kinds of customers. The lesson here is a niche is much more successful than casting a wide net.
What about your company makes you the most proud
The proudest moment is when our customers receive the rebate checks in the mail and they finally believe what we told them is real. The excitement of their reaction is priceless and makes me know we are doing something right for these small business owners.
How do you motivate people to give their best?
I always try to keep a positive attitude even when things are not going well. I remind them that hard things will always happen and it’s how we perceive them that makes them better or worse.
