How do you define success?

success is the point in a person’s life where you are comfortable with your business and your personal life. It is different for everyone depending on their abilities and expecttions.

What do you consider to be your greatest accomplishment?

I was 2015 President of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. Have served over 10 years as a Florida Association of Realtors Director, was a 2 term (6 years) Director of the National Association of Realtors. While a Director at NAR I was Chair of the Single Family Investment Committee.

What lessons from sports have you applied to your personal life and career?

I am a walker and walk 3 miles several times a week. You can always get to the ‘finish Line’ with a little more effort.

What strategies do you use to improve your performance?

I always make a list and it feels great to check things off of it. It’s instant grtification – like mowing a lawn..

Can You Discuss a Time When You Had to Work with a Team to Achieve a Goal?

Many years ago I was very active with Riveride-Avondlae Preservation. We worked together to achieve Historic District status for our area . This gave protection to the properties that were in jeopardy of being demolished to allow for new development in the area. It also gave homebuyers the assurance that if they restored a vintage home they would not have commercoal intrusion on their block. Twentyfive years later Riverside-Avondale is one of the most desirable areas in the City.

What’s The Biggest Challenge you are facing in your business or industry?

High Interest rates, unertain economy, buyers with little cash/savings,

How do you see your field evolving in the next 3-5 years

Depends on the economy – more buyers are making home purchases that they have never seen in person. AI is generating many home descriptions and advertising. Buyers and Sellers need to check all documents very carefully for content.

Who in your industry do you see as a trend setter and why

Lots of folks – too many to name.
