The glazing and construction industries face two primary bottlenecks: a chronic deficit of skilled, field labor and volatile material costs. Furthermore and supply chain disruptions—specifically for aluminum and glass inputs—continue to stretch project timelines and compress profit margins across the Southeast.

How do you ensure safety on your job sites? Ensuring job site safety requires enforcing strict PPE compliance, executing site-specific hazard analyses, and using mechanical aids (like vacuum lifters and dollies) to minimize manual handling. For residential and commercial glazing, safety relies on strict adherence to building codes, proper cut-resistant gear, and controlled lifting mechanics.

What role does technology play in your planning and execution? Technology dictates the precision, scale, and efficiency of glazing operations. It drives the entire workflow—from AI-powered takeoffs to smart-glass integration—ensuring accuracy, minimizing waste, and preventing costly overruns in both residential and commercial projects.

Can you describe a recent project that stood out to you? About four months ago, we completed a sizable project for a church in Eastanollee, GA, and the entire experience was incredible; everything, from delivery times and drawing processing to installation flowed in a very organic and organized manner. The general contractor was also a highly professional company, ensuring a smooth process for both parties. We are very proud of this completed project, known as “The Point Church”, which can be viewed on our website.

What advice would you give to someone entering the construction field? Entering the glazing trade requires mastering the physics of heavy materials and strict safety protocols. Success relies on prioritizing safety, precision measuring, and continual material mastery;

Residential Focus: Primarily involves custom shower doors, mirrors, and glass tabletops. You will deal more directly with homeowners, requiring high customer service skills, cleanest and attention to interior finishes.

Commercial Focus: Involves massive panels, storefronts, skylights, and high-rise curtain walls. It relies heavily on heavy lifting equipment, cranes, and structural silicone applications. So, be prepared and take a glazier course beforehand to ensure you are properly qualified for the type of work and challenges involved.
