About Wondfo USAWondfo USA, headquartered in Bolingbrook, IL, is a leading manufacturer of point-of-care tests providing rapid diagnostic and chronic disease management solutions to support the health and well-being of people everywhere. Our mission is to provide solutions that save lives as well as improve day to day quality of life. We manufacture and distribute rapid point-of-care products in 4 major categories including Toxicology Testing, Infectious Disease, Women’s Reproductive Health, and Veterinary Diagnostics.
What differentiates you from the competition? Our parent company uses quality, name-brand raw materials to produce our products. We do not cut corners to save money or to sell our products at a cheaper price. Our production capacity is much larger than our competition and we are much larger.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers? Our top selling products are not unique. Although I would argue they are better quality, not all buyers care. Many "get by" with cheaper products. We have been audited and passed inspections by some of the largest names in healthcare.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?From quality manufacturing to dedicated customer service, technical support and product training, Wondfo USA is the premium choice for lateral flow, rapid diagnostics. We have a large inventory in our Illinois facility and handle large orders easily.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Whether to promote our brands, or to go back to focusing on the business of being a contract manufacturer. Growing our brands proves difficult in terms of cost, effort and ROI since the majority of our revenue comes from private label products.

How is your company using automation or robotics in production? We utilize a small amount of automation in our San Diego production facility, but no robotics.

What steps are you taking to improve efficiency and reduce waste? We’ve been doing this for many years, so we already run very efficiently and have little waste.

How are you dealing with global supply chain and labor challenges? Supply chain and labor are always concerns, especially due to the fact that most of our products are made in China. Labor challenges in China are increasing as the years go on.

How do you ensure product quality and compliance? We have QA and QC teams that monitor production, test after production, and provide support after the sale of our tests. We work very closely with the FDA on labeling and compliance.
