Why did you choose your industry?I love working with the Military population and making them aware of resources they have earned.
Who are your typical clients?Veterans and their families
What do you like best about being in this industry?Knowing I am helping our Veterans.
What are common problems you see?many don't know the benefits that they earned, or they are told they need to spend money to attain them. Veterans do not know that our office is available to them.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?get a VA rating and talk to your spouses about any benefits.
When is your busy season?when is NOT our busy season?
What keeps you up at night?events, job details. Did I do enough?
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?we attend many events to let people know we exist. We have eblasts. we have various events that are publicized through our PAO, flyers, other organizations. We have our website.
How involved are you in the community?I attend many outreach events and try not to miss a chance to tell our Veterans what we can offer them.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?K9s for Warriors
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?do it! It's great and very rewarding.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?cooking, relaxing outside, watching TV
